Mena Alexandra (born on February 13, 1979) is a model and actress in the US. After launching her professional career as an actress, Mena Alexandra Suvari appeared as a guest on 1990s TV series Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her film debut was in 1997's dramatic Nowhere. The performances she made were in American Beauty, for which she was awarded an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie brought her to broader interest. After that, she was as a co-star in Loser (2000) with the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and then played the principal character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun was a 2002 independent drama film and Trauma (2004) thriller were both part of her professional career. She also appeared on HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award 2005 as part of the Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008, Suvari was a part in a series of movies such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is the model for Lancome cosmetics as well as print ads in the brand's Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured on numerous fashion magazines as well as blogs including Vogue. Suvari has been a loyal advocate and supporter of the esteemed African relief group, The African Medical and Research Foundation. Also, she is involved in the issue of women's empowerment and collaborates with various organizations to support breast cancer awareness and women's rights and the End Violence Against Women Campaign. As a gifted actress has done well on all of them. Missy is a very generous person. She is involved in charity initiatives.
